Oatmeal, apple and carrots!

Written by Admin

Ingredients:
1 cup of traditional rolled oats (gluten-free if necessary)
1 and a half cups of almond milk without sugar (or any type of milk you prefer)
1/2 cup of mashed banana (for a natural sweet flavor)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
A little bit of salt
You can add fresh fruit, nuts, seeds, or a little bit of nut butter on top if you like.

Directions:
Mix the following ingredients in a medium saucepan: oats, almond milk, mashed banana, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a bit of salt.

Make the oatmeal: Heat the mixture until it boils, stirring from time to time.

Lower the heat and let it cook gently for 5-7 minutes until the oats are tender and have soaked up most of the liquid. Stir often to avoid food from sticking.

Stop cooking and leave it aside for a few minutes to thicken more.

Put the oatmeal in bowls and add your favorite toppings if you want.

Suggestions:

Banana puree: The mashed banana provides a natural sweet flavor. If you like, you can use applesauce or another mashed fruit instead.

If the oatmeal is too thick, add a little more milk until it reaches the thickness you want.

To make your dish tastier, you can add some cocoa powder, a little almond extract, or some berries.

This oatmeal recipe is flexible and can be changed with different toppings and ingredients to match your taste, all while being free of sugar and flour. Have a healthy and tasty breakfast!
