Ingredients:
500g fresh okra, trimmed and sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant and translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften.
Stir in sliced okra and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add fish sauce and water. Cover and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the okra is tender.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
